Emotion is the experiential arc between the problem and its solution:

Between the danger and the escape lies fear. Between novelty and its exploration lies joyful curiosity. Between the loss and its eventual acceptance lies the grief and its completion.

It’s been said that showing up for ourselves is the hardest, most important work we’ll ever do.

Whether you find yourself grieving a significant loss, processing a difficult life change, or simply wanting to explore a different way of relating to yourself and the people around you, I know that even being here takes courage.

I see therapy as a sort of pilgrimage to our authentic, integrated selves, sometimes in the face of darkness and grief. Pain shows us our contours, but what has happened to us is not the final word. Journeying through what feels difficult in our lives is part of the process of bringing our fullest and best into the world, and I would be honoured to accompany you in this journey.

I am a Toronto-based occupational therapist and psychotherapist offering in-person and virtual psychotherapy.
