I am a Toronto-based Occupational Therapist and Psychotherapist registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

I completed my graduate training at the University of Toronto and have over eight years of experience working in the mental health field and over ten as a clinician. I have extensive experience working with adults and facilitating therapeutic groups, and I regularly contribute to graduate education at the University of Toronto through teaching and student supervision. I have worked and trained at the largest mental health and addiction hospital in Canada and participate in ongoing supervision, peer consultation, and training to ensure that my skills are current.

As a regulated health professional, integrating research into my clinical work while holding a firmly non-pathologizing view of people and what we experience is a priority for me.

I also hold different identities within myself, as a woman of colour, a person of intercultural identity, a child of immigrants, a parent, and a fellow pilgrim on the journey toward wholeness. All of these identities have given me experiences of being in between, other, in process, and belonging.

I have been writing and creating my entire life and I believe our innate creativity connects us to possibility, our deepest longings, and transformation.

Reflexive practice that locates my parts and biases is important to me, and I actively seek out ways to continue developing a critical, open perspective of my position in my communities and the world at large.

I enjoy working with people on a variety of issues, including:

  • trauma, including developmental/complex, spiritual, and religious trauma

  • internal and external attachment work and repair

  • emotional exploration

  • relationship challenges

  • cultural identity

  • self-worth and self-compassion

  • spirituality and health

  • perinatal mental health

  • life transitions and identity

  • grief and loss

  • depression and anxiety

My approach to therapy is relational, integrative, and co-creative.
